And don't you know, that Southern hospitality runs in the family. One of the best things we all did was get reacquainted. Love ya'll!

That's my brothers. Family mean more than anything in the world. I'm glad I have them. Life would not be the same without them.

Wow, this is making me so long for southern summer evenings, sitting on the back porch. I know the feeling your describing here. I get it also when everything just seems to fall in all right right spots.

It's great to have a place you can always unwind, decompress, and feel welcomed, warmed, and loved. Hank and Wiley sound awesome and their B&B sounds enchanting!

What a testament to your dear cousin, that his place if the first place you think of in your time of turmoil. And you made their place sound so wonderful I'm bookmarking it to plan a future visit - at least to pass along to my in-laws who love to travel that part of the country!

I've had the pleasure of being friends of Hank and Wiley's for almost 8 years. Your blog entry brought tears to my eyes. You described their beautiful B & B and their personalities to a T.

In the words of Tina Fey "I want to go to there".

We are leaving tomorrow for a week in St. Augustine; gotta "get away" and relax, but after reading this I think that our next "escape" might be going to see Wiley and Hank...

seems like heaven on earth, in so many ways. the smiles, the gentle spirit, the warmth. that would be my first choice as a retreat to mend a wounded wing, if they were my family. lucky you!!

Sounds like a comfortable place to be to get away from all that bothers you and to have people like your cousin running the place is a blessing because good people are hard to find sometimes.

Good People, Beauty of Nature, and a Comfortable Welcome Feeling all in one place is something you cant beat.

Everybody needs a soft place to land when they are fallin. Its way cool that Hank and Wiley play as innkeepers to yours.
I'd say Wiley has made up for threatenin to leave you in the woods for cryin. What a wonderful feat, to have a place that provides for healin, quiet introspection, gentle conversation and boisterous laughter.
I wanna go.
