I love the tilt of Daisy's head...is she eyeing a squirrel? And thanks for being someone I can trust to tell me the truth...no matter what I might be thinking!!!

What a powerful post. I was drawn in by that striking photo, but it was your prose that captured me.

I especially love this line: "I’ve learned I have to live in a way that allows me to look in the mirror at myself and like who I see." I think I am okay with the quick glance in the mirror. Long, reflective stares? Not sure. I might have to try it out in a few minutes when I wash my face before bed.

A wonderful post. We often spend so much time thinking of others and their perceptions but forget about what's going on in our own hearts & heads! Love the photo of Daisy--the light, the composition, etc. I have no idea what I'd do without my pooch.

Say whatcha mean and mean whatcha say. Follow-up on it and follow through with it. Why waste your time, my time, and your breath by spewin forth stuff you don't mean? Stuff you yourself don't even believe? It really is unnecessary and uncalled for.
I am grateful to know that when you, Karal, say it, you mean it. When you promise it, you do it. When you tell it, its the truth.
Thank you, Kurl.

Nice Picture and Message,

A lot can be said about being honest to yourself and others, you may leave me sitting in the window waiting but at least I know you will be back is not as lonely a feeling as waiting and wondering, Good Friends don't have to wonder.

Thank You for the good feelings here.
